The sculpture gallery was great, especially the one in the second photo
(the veil is an incredible effect). This location was used in the
Pride and
Prejudice movie with Keira
Knightley. (Movie geek note: if you compare the movie still with
the actual location, you can see where they tried to disguise the power
outlet).
That was the end of the house tour. I still had a couple of hours until
the bus left, so it was time to see the garden. Since
there's a bit of topography here, they were able to so some interesting
things, like the large water cascade and the alpine boulder garden.
This water-tree sculpture had to have been designed for rainbows... It
was really intense in the sun..
Pretty good hedge maze.
Is it just me, or does this snag look like a great white?
Sorry, but I had to include this one. As far as I can tell, this is a
VERY flat frog!
