Next, I went to Lake Quinault, since that's where I was staying that night. Since I still had some daylight left, I went on the Maple Glade Rain Forest Trail
This was absolutely the GREENEST place I've ever been. The pictures just don't do it justice. There was a very slow moving shallow river whose bed was full of spring green plants. It was just incredible, and only 1 mile, so definitely recommended.
Back at the hotel, I took a quick look around, and saw this tree. Don't if the sign is accurate, but it was certainly a very big tree. The nice sunset was a good end to the trip..
